TZM and TZM molybdenum alloy high temperature performance

 By TZM (molybdenum lanthanum alloy) and TZM Molybdenum plate alloys in 1000 ~ 1800 ℃ high temperature performance and corresponding organizational studies. The results showed that: the case of less than 1400 ℃, lanthanum molybdenum alloy has high strength and ductility combination of properties when the temperature is higher than 1400 ℃, the molybdenum alloy tensile strength decreased lanthanum, molybdenum, lanthanum alloys also have significant ductility decreased. With the temperature increase test, TZM alloy reduced tensile strength, ductility but elevated molybdenum alloy TZM, which is opposite and molybdenum lanthanum alloys. Meanwhile, regardless of strength or ductility, TZM molybdenum alloy compared to the same temperature lanthanum alloys have a distinct advantage. Organization observations show that: The two molybdenum alloy recrystallization starts at 1100 ℃, has been extended to 1550 ℃, and its elongated recrystallized grains are showing the organization, which is significantly different from pure molybdenum recrystallization state equiaxed grains .
